How to get the best prints, and a place to tell us what to make better.

Printing tips

  1. 01

    Print at 100%

    Turn off Fit to page or Scale to fit. If the page shrinks, the holes miss the rings.

  2. 02

    Use paper of 60 gsm or more

    Thin paper can wrap round the drum of a home laser printer. 52 gsm Tomoe River did in our tests.

  3. 03

    Set your offsets once

    Print the test sheet and type in two numbers. Every PDF after that lines up front to back.

  4. 04

    Trim, then punch

    Cut on the trim marks first. Then line the page up to the hole guides and punch.

  5. 05

    Print one sheet first

    Before you print 90 days, print one sheet and try it in your planner.
